KINGDOM RESTORATION PROCESS

The earth has been corrupted and derailed from God’s original intention. God condemned it for destruction, according to (Gen 6:11; Isa 24; 2Pet 3:9 -13; Jude 1:5 – 8). God’s first attempt in destroying the earth was targeted at man and non-aquatic animals.

Gen 6:7And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

He used water to destroy them according to Genesis chapters 6 – 8. But He spared Noah and his family. The second and final attempt will be a futuristic event when He will destroy the earth with fire and create a new earth and new heaven in which righteousness dwells, according to (Isa 65:17; 66:22; Rev 21:1).

God, however, has great concern for man whom He created in His own image and likeness.

John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He still wants man to be part of His new earth and new heaven and also to fulfill the purpose for which He created him (Heb 1:6 – 8; 1Cor 6:3). In order for this to happen, God had to carry out the work of restoring man through the program of salvation by regenerating him. And any man that refuses to be regenerated is condemned with the world and will be destroyed with the Devil (Satan) alongside the world at the close of age.

God got Himself involved in the process of regeneration by sending His word (Son), a member of the Godhead, to the world in the form of man (Jesus Christ) to carry out this great work of salvation and prepare man for eternity with Him (God). This work is a spiritual engineering exercise that requires acknowledging and identifying with Jesus Christ and having faith in His work of salvation.

Gal 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Rom 6:6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Anybody that believes in this will experience the mystery of regeneration recorded in John 1:12,13 and John 3:5 – 8.

The altar of sin in his life will be reduced to a stump, and the power of flesh, i.e., soul and body, called Adamic nature and self, will be suppressed. The wish and the will of the believer will henceforth be to do God’s will, live a righteous life, and he will have grace to conform with the image of Christ. The Godhead will be alive in him, and every signal that his mind receives will be guided by the spirit of Christ so that the believer will not be able to please himself but instead longs to please God. The seed of God in him will prevent him from seeing the stump of the altar of sin, enable him live in conformity with the nature of Christ and stop him from thinking about sinful act, according to;

1 John 3:9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2 Cor 5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Such a person will be Holy Spirit-controlled and led.

John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Rom 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

…and become a new creation in Christ because he has been regenerated.

A regenerated man is Christ-like in nature, serves as light and salt to this sinful world. He has grace to demonstrate the life of the kingdom of God for the world to see; a life that is quite distinct from the world’s life.
