KINGDOM RESTORATION PROCESS
Sin and it’s Power
Sin is an offence against God or against a religious or moral law (Advanced Learners Dictionary). It can also be referred to as an act of disobedience to constituted authority, culture, moral ethics, laws and instructions.
The act of sinning started in the Garden of Eden when Eve agreed to listen and follow Satan’s (Devil) instructions contrary to the one that God gave to them. (Genesis 3:4-5) ‘And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil’. She submitted herself to Satan’s authority and then became slave to Satan. (Romans 6:16) ‘Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?’. She voluntarily disobeyed God and made her husband to follow suit as recorded in (Genesis 3:6) ‘And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.‘ Upon this simple act of disobedience, Satan raised an Altar of sin for them.
The Spirit of God that enabled them to have image and likeness of God departed them and they became spiritually dead. God replaced His Spirit in them with Conscience. Satan then reconfigured their nature, making their soul and body have strong bond which gave them a Soulical body called FLESH which is generally referred to as Adamic nature. Satan’s spirit took over the space left by the spirit of God and then bore much influence on the mind of man. Man henceforth started working on Satan’s (Devil) messages and whatever he can perceive from the environment and nature. Man became repulsive to God and the things of God. This is the reason that made them to run away from the presence of God as recorded in (Genesis 3:8) ‘And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden’ and lost the image and likeness of God. During this process of reconfiguring man, Satan deposited his character traits into man so that man can reflect his (Satan’s) likeness. Hence man became evil in his thoughts and actions. (Genesis 6:6, 11-12) ‘And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart… The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth’ ; (Jeremiah 17:9) ‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?’. He thinks about Sin and acting wickedly rather than doing the will of God and doing good unconditionally.
The sovereign nature of God in man when he was created makes him to have independent nature after his fall which gives him freedom of choice. This made Adam to accuse God of imposing a woman on him (Genesis 3:12) ‘And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat’. Every message that man receives is passed through the Soulical body – (flesh), which is self and environment-based based. And things are henceforth, done generally on man’s own terms and conditions.
The aftermath of the effect of sinful nature in man, made Cain to kill Abel his brother, in Genesis chapter 4. The wickedness in man led to the destruction of the first world as recorded in (Genesis 6:5) ‘And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually’. The present condition of the earth planet and people is expressed in (Isaiah 24:1, 3) ‘Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof… The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word’ ; (2 Peter 3:1-2, 10) ‘This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour…‘
Some reasons why God would want to restore The Lost Kingdom back to man and reconcile with him
(1) God did not create Satan to represent Him here on earth as recorded in (Genesis 1:26) ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth’ . Satan (Devil) was cast out of heaven as a result of his rebellious activities – (Isaiah 14:12-15) ‘How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!…. ; (Revelation 12:7-9) ‘And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him’
(2) Satan was created as an Angelic being with unique characteristics to be a messenger as recorded in (Ezekiel 28:1-2, 14-15) ‘The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God… Thou wast the anointed cherub that covereth; and I had set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee’. Man, on the other hand, was created in God’s image and likeness to have dominion over all God’s creation. Therefore, Satan cannot fully exhibit the true nature of God.
(3) The setting up of Satan’s kingdom on earth has polluted the originality of the earth planet as recorded in (Genesis 6:11) ‘The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.’ . Hence the need for this earth to be destroyed and a new one created as recorded in (Isaiah 65:17) ‘For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind…’ ; (Revelation 21:1, 4); ‘And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea… And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away’ .
Some reasons why God would want to restore The Lost Kingdom back to man and reconcile with him
(4) The creations of God on earth have been subjected to futility, pains, afflictions, and oppressions, etc. There is a need to deliver and set the creation free from the oppressions and afflictions imposed on them by the Devil according to (Romans 8:23) ‘And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body’ .
(5) Man has to be redeemed from SIN and its penalties, and the altar of sin erected for man has to be destroyed so that man can have newness of life according to (1 John 3:8-9) ‘He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil...’; (2 Corinthians 5:17). ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new’.
(6) God will always keep His word and purpose. Therefore, His purpose of creating man to have dominion over His creation must stand according to (Genesis 1:26-27) ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth…’ .
(7) The righteousness of God, peace, love, and other attributes of God intended for this planet must come into reality according to (Isaiah 65:17, 23) ‘For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth… They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them’; (Revelation 21:1, 4; 22:5) ‘And I saw a new heaven and a new earth… And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain… And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever’.
(8) God wants His will to be done on earth as it is done in heaven, as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:10 ‘Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven’ .
(9) There is a need for man to re-establish true fellowship with God as was done originally in the Garden of Eden before his fall according to (Genesis 3:8-10) ‘And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden….’
(10) God does not want man to perish with the Devil because of the love He has for man, according to (John 3:16) ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’.
